I had multiple scans in various joints to investigate the extent and location of the problems I have been experiencing. Professor Chinoy explained in detail and very clearly what the images revealed. I was given good advice in layman's terms that I could easily understand, and feel that Professor Chinoy is a very personable and genuine character and took a holistic approach to other conditions that could be related to the problems above. I was seen on time and my appointment was not rushed - the main thing was to get to the root causes of my problems with advice on how to alleviate them. I had an excellent experience.

I saw Dr Chinoy as a private patient. I am baffled by the positive reviews on this website. I found him to be dismissive and curt. I wanted to have some time to ask questions about my condition but he simply said that he couldn't give me any advice as he didn't have access to my records. I left feeling humiliated and guilty for taking up his valuable time, even though I had paid £8 a minute for the privilege of being in his company. I've no idea to this day why he was so unpleasant to me.

I would thoroughly recommend Prof. Chinoy. he put me at ease and made me feel relaxed straight away, he explained at great detail what my issue was in a language I understood and showed me on my MRI. He made me feel that I was his priority and did not rush me at all. I would not hesitate to recommend Prof Chinoy to any of my friends who were suffering from the same issue.

Put me at ease with friendly, professional manner. Listened to my worries, gave me a thorough exam and explained everything in simple language. Gave a diagnosis and advice on how to proceed. Left his consulting room feeling so much better for having all the facts explained. I contacted Prof C by email a few times after the consultation and he always responded quickly and helpfully.

He trained in Rheumatology in the North West from 2001-2009. He completed an Arthritis Research UK Fellowship at The University of Manchester, and was awarded a PhD in 2007. He is co-chair of UKMYONET, a national consortium which fosters collaborative research in inflammatory myopathy.
